Email Catch-all functionality no longer offered

Friday, January 20th, 2006 5:55PM EST

This is because of the CPU load placed on our servers by the MANY dictionary attacks caused by spammers. We have gotten as many as 60,000 Emails from one spammer sent to one Email account! With the catch-all enabled you get every single one of these Emails. This puts a huge CPU load on our servers to process for spam and viruses for each Email. Many other hosting providers are also removing this functionality for the same reason.

Any customer who currently has an Email catch all enabled MUST setup specific Email aliases or you will not receive Emails from our server. On February 1st 2006 we will change all accounts to disable the Email catch-all feature.

Thank you for your understanding with this matter.
