DDOS attack on data center #2

Friday, April 24th, 2009 9:10AM EDT

A customer of data center #2 (NYI) was attacked this morning starting at 8:20 A EDT.  This attack was not directly aimed at us but a customer of NYI is on the same switch our routes go though, which affected us.  At  9:09 AM EDT it appears they have resolved the issue, but no offical word yet from them.  We will post updates via this blog post and via Twitter (empoweringmedia).
